I wrote about the puzzle solving of my youth: jigsaw puzzles. The three dimensional puzzle is out of my league.
Rubik Cube
Multi-colored squares all mixed up; it’s a mess,
I can’t solve it; I’ll confess,
With six sides to conquer; this cube is a shrew,
It’s very confusing; what should I do?
Turn, rotate, twist it and then,
I make no progress; I begin again,
The algorithm is easy according to some,
If that’s true, why do I feel so dumb?
Challenge, frustration right from the start,
My son can solve it; he is so smart,
If in minutes, he can tame the shrew,
Why can't I learn to do it too?
